        * Multiple Regional Events Keep IFMR Riders on the Road
        * 'Snow Birds' Wanted for Winter Rides in the Sunbelt

This is the time to start planning your IFMR rides for 2015.  Ken Brandt has just told me he's planning another great spring weekend ride thru beautiful NW PA, including Allegheny National Forest -- famous for its elk herds and twisty mountain roads -- and a visit to the spectacular Kinzua Bridge and gorge overlook.

It's not that hard to plan an event in your area.  Pick the date and location, then let us know and we'll help you get the word out to other IFMR members in your area.  Also, be sure to let your DG, ADG, and district bulletin editor know; and ask them to help you spread the word among Rotarians who may not have heard about IFMR previously.

The position requires familiarity with spreadsheets, email, and related administrative skills, plus enjoy frequent contact with new and existing IFMR members, as well as with other IFMR-NA officers and directors. If you would be interested in filling this key position, or want to recommend someone else who would make a good candidate, please contact President Tim Cudd (tim.cudd@ifmr-na.org) or Jean Dores (ldihrli@aol.com).

IFMR-NA President's Newsletter - February 2014 [3 Attachments]

Attached is your PDF copy of the February 2014 issue of the IFMR-NA President's newsletter, which includes the following:

* COMING EVENTS listing
* Two Spring Rides Combined for Full Week of Riding
* President Tim's Notes from the Top
* Riding through the south of Mexico
* Fun photos . . . and more

Also attached to this email are two PDF flyers with information for the IFMR Spring Get-Together in Staunton, VA, and the Fellowship Ride to End Polio at Maggie Valley, NC.

Also note that the IFMR-NA PowerPoint has been updated to include a couple of new slides covering a few activities held in 2013 and some planned for 2014. The PPT now contains about 25 slides and can be easily modified and personalized to include your own photos and ride info for making presentations at local Rotary club meetings, district events, and other opportunities in your area. The updated PPT file is about 58 MB and can be downloaded at http://tinyurl.com/ltrh8dp.

Please don't everyone try to download a copy immediately. The last time I announced a new update, so many people went on line to download a copy in the first few hours it was available that DROPBOX locked the account and kept it locked for nearly a week, suspecting it was being used for some nefarious purpose.

:-) Bob

Now is the time for planning a spring get-together with IFMR members in your area. Use the membership roster distributed with the last newsletter to see who else is in your area and arrange to get together with them for a fellowship meal and a ride, then send me photos and narratives of your get-together. If you're planning a weekend event or longer ride, let us know in advance and we'll publicize it in the newsletter and on the IFMR-NA website to help you draw a group together.

Correction to Event Date: IFMR Spring Get-Together, May 2-4, 2014

I just noticed that COMING EVENTS listing in the December newsletter shows the wrong dates for the IFMR Spring Get-Together at Staunton, VA. The correct dates should be Friday, May 2 - Sunday, May 4. Sorry for the error. Details on lodging, etc, will be announced as soon as details are completed. Mark your calendar and I'll hope to see you there. (Also note that this event follows just a couple days after the "Fellowship Ride to End Polio", so you may want to plan to participate in both, since they are only a couple hundred miles apart.
