IFMR-NA Presidents Newsletter - December 2012

Attached is the December issue of the IFMR-NA Presidents Newsletter, which includes the following topics:

* Calendar of Coming Events
* Council of IFMR P/DG's named to help raise awareness
* On-line dues payments prove popular, spur membership growth
* IFMR's 'PolioPlus' Bob Mutchler cited for his community service
* IFMR-NA now on FACEBOOK
* IFMR merchandise now available for orders
* More IFMR-NA events planned for 2013
* DG Chris Jones (D7680) rides a GoldWing to visit his clubs

While on-line credit card payments have become the most popular way to pay IFMR dues, now used by 3/4ths of new and renewing members, overall dues payments continue to lag. Despite several reminders by email and in the newsletter, fewer than half of current IFMR-NA members have paid their 2012-13 dues so far. If you're one of these 'dues delinquents', please take time right now to go on-line to www.IFMR-NA.org, pay your 2012-13 dues, and update your member information. If you're unsure about whether you've paid your dues or not, email IFMR-NA membership director Jean Dores (ldihrli@aol.com) and she'll double-check the records for you.

This has been a good year for IFMR-NA. Let's make it an even better year in 2013. With your participation and help, we can do it!

IFMR-NA President's Newsletter - October 2012
October 2012 Newsletter, which includes the following topics:

Coming IFMR Events
New IFMR Caps, Shirts & More
IFMR Events at OBX and Smoky Mountains Draw Members Far & Wide

We've managed to recapture most of the IFMR photos that had been part of the old IFMR-NA.org website. Ride Guide Don Theile and several other long-time IFMR riders are reviewing the photos, identifying people, adding some captions, and organizing the photos so we can add them to the Picasa web gallery which has been added to the new IFMR-NA.org website. If you'd like to help with that effort or have old photos from the early days of IFMR, please contact Don (dtheile@sbcglobal.net) or me and let us know of your interest or what photos you have.

If you are planning an event in your area, or if you've recently held one, please be sure to let us know the details, provide a short report and photos, etc., that we can include in the newsletter and the website.

IFMR-NA President's Newsletter

Attached is your copy of the February 2012 issue of the IFMR-NA president's newsletter. Please take a look and pass it along to your Rotary friends who ride. It includes:

  • List of Coming Events

  • IFMR 'Ride Guides' Needed

  • Out of the Attic (photos)

  • Coming Events, and more...

As indicated in this newsletter, we're seeking IFMR members who would like to help organize rides and promote membership in their local area. I've already named several and I'll be naming more in the next few months. I'd like to have a network of IFMR 'ride guides' in every state and Rotary district. If you love to ride and love to meet other riders, I encourage you to become an IFMR 'ride guide'. Just let me know of your interest and I'll fill you in on details and help you get things started. You won't regret it!
